Commercial and Residential are just two opposite words, where commercial is to do with the business somehow, residential is for our own living. By business property, we mean to generate profit or capital or income from a piece of land.

Coming to a bigger picture we can have industrial property, hospitals, hotels, malls, shopping complexes, retail stores, , agricultural land, multi-family housing buildings and garages all under one term i.e. Commercial Properties. Another simpler way to define a commercial property is by saying a ‘Real Estate Property which is used for the Business Purposes.

Residential Properties and Projects
To meet up the demands of high rising population of India, many of the Real Estate developers have started the Projects for our own benefit called Residential Projects. There may include Current Residential Plots, Built-Up Independent Houses, and Multistoried Flats Schemes of Various Development Authorities and Housing Boards in India. This practice is even very common now days in India. You can see it in every part of India be it Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon etc. These projects are having world class amenities, great architecture and luxury.
Real estate developers in India today are focused on the development of affordable housing for all. That's why when a residential project is developed; it is completely exhausted in a short period of time. The concept of apartments in India has become demanding with property buyers as it offers international standard mode of lifestyle at affordable prices

Commercial or Residential Real Estate Investments. Which One is better?
Most of us today start out investing in every option available to us. In case of Properties, your own decision is not enough. There are various factors that need to be taken care of. Most importantly – Where to invest? Which is better? Who will give better Profit?

In Commercial the chances of risks are less, as an example if there is huge building and 5-10 small organizations work over there, and one chooses to back off, then also you would not lose the whole income. It could be the case with residential.

3) Considered Safer in India. Though Residential also falls under this category, but Real Estate Investments in India has taken India to a next level. It is considered to be the safest investment. And about 30 percent of rise in Real estate has been seen over the last few years.

So, before investing you should also research and know the Market tactics, for both, residential or commercial Projects. A good investment and a better understanding of market makes you a good Real Estate Developer as well as help in the growth of Indian Real Estate Market.
