1? Cultivation techniques of organic Chinese yam

1. There are two propagation methods of organic Chinese yam, namely egg propagation and root segmentation propagation. Organic firewood yam eggs can be propagated in large quantities and harvested when the ground thaws in February and March of the next year. In early April, the propagated plants (i.e. yam faucet) will continue to be planted. Because organic firewood yam eggs contain less nutrients, it is best to grow about 20 cm or even very small in a year. Vegetable farmers call it "salt wheel hammer". The root tuber is divided and propagated. After the yam is harvested, the upper end of the root tuber is 10cm ~ 15cm thin and hard, and can not be eaten. It can be cut and planted. Although this method is economical and easy to germinate, it contains less nutrients and the root tubers formed after planting are small; If root fertilizer is used, most of them should be cut into pieces, with a weight of 70g ~ 100g. The cut shall be coated with lime for corrosion prevention. At present, most places use the upper end of root tuber 10 cm ~ 15 cm as seed, and the hypertrophic part is used as vegetables or processed and sold.

2. Dig deep and prepare the ground. When preparing the field, first pick up the bricks, tiles and stones to avoid root deformity. The ploughing depth is about 45 cm. After the previous crop is harvested, plough, prepare and make borders as soon as possible to prepare for planting.

3. Increase the application of base fertilizer. Before deep ploughing, 5000 kg of organic fertilizer shall be applied per mu, and then shallow ploughing. During shallow ploughing, 10 kg of ammonia bicarbonate shall be applied per mu, or 15 kg of compound fertilizer shall be applied and buried in the soil in combination with ploughing, or 500 kg ~ 1000 kg of rotten organic fertilizer shall be applied in the ditch. When the base fertilizer is less or the quality is poor, it can be directly applied in the planting ditch as seed fertilizer.

4. Timely sowing. Sowing is generally in April, and it is better for the unearthed seedlings to grow in frost free period.

5. Reasonable close planting. In general, the density of organic firewood yam faucet should be smaller, the density of fertile land should be higher than that of thin land, and the density of organic firewood yam egg should be higher than that of faucet. The row spacing of Chaishan yam egg plant is 6 ~ 12 × 30cm, the row spacing of leading plants is 15 ~ 30 × 16 cm. When sowing, pay attention to the plant spacing of the faucet, which is subject to the distance between germination points.

6. Field management. Water according to the soil moisture after sowing. Generally, water once after sowing. The seedlings can emerge in about half a month. Human manure and urine can be applied in the holes in the border before and after emergence. When the seedling is 30 cm high, the frame is usually used for the elevated frame, and the cotton stalk or branch can be used for the low frame to make it ventilated and transparent. The second is to remove weeds in the field in time.

7. Harvest. After October, the growth of organic firewood yam has stopped, and the leaves dry after frost. First remove the support, and then carefully dig the yam to prevent damage.

2? Processing of Chinese yam for export

1. Pick. Any organic firewood yam with a length of more than 20 cm and a diameter of 3 cm, without insect bite, mildew, scar, straightness and deformity can be selected for processing.

2. Peel. Use a skin scraper. Scrape off the outer skin of the selected organic firewood yam. The old skin shall be scraped clean without leaving pores. Fine wool organic firewood yam generally peels about 12 kg per 100 kg, and coarse wool organic firewood yam peels about 15 kg per 100 kg.

3. Fumigation. Put the peeled organic firewood yam into a basket every 50kg, put the basket together into the fumigation room, and smoke it with burning sulfur for about 24 hours. 5000 kg of organic firewood yam needs 35 kg ~ 40 kg of sulfur.

4. Water pressure. The smoked organic firewood yam also contains a lot of water. Put it into the matching basket, put the small basket full of organic firewood yam on the large basket full of organic firewood yam, and press out the water. After pressing for one day, pour the small basket of firewood yam into the large basket, and the large basket of organic firewood yam into the small basket. Press the water again in the same way. In this way, pour it once a day for one week.

5. Dry. Put the organic firewood yam on the foil, dry it during the day, roll up the foil at night, and stack the rolled foil together. Cover it with canvas at ordinary times and cotton quilt in cold weather. Dry until you can knead it into flour by hand.

In order to improve economic benefits, the organic firewood yam processed above can be picked out for finishing processing with a diameter of more than 1cm. The key technical points of finishing processing are as follows:

1. Wash the goods. Pour the organic firewood and yam to be reprocessed into the water tank for washing, and wash away the soil and dust until it turns white. After taking it out, spread it on the foil to dry until the surface feels smooth when touched by hand.

2. Fumigation. Put the dried organic firewood yam into the basket and put it in the fumigation room for the second fumigation, which usually takes one or two hours.

3. Stuffy goods. Pour the smoked organic firewood and yam into a one meter deep dry pool, cover it with a sack and stuffy for one or two hours.

4. Rub goods. Rub the stuffy organic Chaishan medicinal board into a cylindrical shape, thicken the thin one and round the thick one. The thicker, the rounder, the better.

5. Pull the goods. Put the rubbed organic firewood yam on the foil to dry, usually in the morning, pick out the goods in the afternoon, and pack them separately.

6. Pour the box. Put the packed box indoors, pour the box every two days, and stick to it for three or four days. When the firewood yam is dry to 70% or 80%, transport the organic firewood yam to the outside for drying until it is dried.

After the above processing, the following deep processing can also be carried out by:

1. Shave. Soak the dried and boxed organic Chaishan medicinal water, soften the outer layer, and then scrape off the skin with a knife to remove the dust.

2. Grinding. Rub with fine wood sandpaper one by one, so that the organic firewood yam has no dry wrinkles, yellow spots, pits, white color, flat surface and round shape.

3. Grinding head. The two ends of organic firewood yam shall be polished with sandpaper, and there shall be no horseshoe shape and potholes, so that the cube can stand.

4. Hang powder. Rub organic firewood yam with mung bean powder.

5. Dry. Dry the organic firewood yam hung with powder, put it into a moisture-proof box after drying, and then export it for sale.
